MR. JOHN K.Y. CHAN

Mr. Chan was admitted as a solicitor in the United Kingdom in 1972 and in Hong Kong in 1973. Thereafter he was appointed as a member of the Disciplinary Committee Panel by the Chief Justice and was also appointed by the Governor as a member of the Criminal Injury Compensation Board for six years.

Mr. Chan has been practising in various firms of solicitors and has been a partner in Messrs. T.S. Tong & Co. for 25 years until retired and remained as a Consultant in September 2009. Thereafter he joined Messrs. Hon & Co. as a Consultant.

Mr. Chan has been enjoying his retirement life and decided not to continue his practice as an active Solicitor in HKSAR since 2017 but he still maintains his membership in the Law Society of Hong Kong.
